Snippets <\/em>is a temporary\u00a0 site-specific installation created directly on the wall. It is composed of circles of newsprint pinned on the wall with multicoloured head pins. The work uses pieces obtained from perforating paper, such as confetti. In this case, the format of the confetti is that of a 25-cent coin. We can try to read or reread the newspaper text lying flat on the wall … in vain. The interference effect offers instead a redacted text, of which we can only glimpse snippets. Juxtaposed in large numbers, the circles explore the visual effect of the mesh used in screen printing. The mass on the wall also evokes a world map, in which every pin head identifies a city, agglomerations at times more dense and structured and at other times scattered in cloud-like formations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
